Exercise Safety Tips

  • Warm up and cool down, always warm up first and cool down after exercise.
  • Move slowly and stretch for 5 to 10 ten minutes.

  • Always inspect your feet after activity for blisters or sores.

  • Avoid exercising in hot, humid weather to prevent you from getting dehydrated.
  • Exercise in early morning or late evening during summer months is advisable because of low temperature and heat.

Wear light colour, lightweight, comfortable clothing and a hat or cap to keep you away from the sun heat and UV.
