Forceful expulsion of the contents of one's stomach through the mouth and sometimes the nose. It is also called being sick or throwing up.

Causes of vomiting

Constipation: Constipated people do suffer from vomiting or any kind of motion sickness more likely when u travelling can cause vomiting.

During Pregnancy: In early stages of pregnancy one can have vomit symptoms.

Food poisoning: Sometimes because of road side food or even more oily can make poison after reacting in stomach.

Ulcer: Ulcers are normally small wound or damaged tissue that develop in the mouth or at the base of the gums. They can make eating, drinking, and talking uncomfortable and in many cases it leads to vomit.

Alcohol: Excess of Alcohol drinking can overwhelm the body’s ability to break down and clear alcohol from the bloodstream.


Home remedies to get rid of Vomiting

  • Make sure you consume only light, plain foods like khichdi or bread
  • Avoid foods which produces acid like junk food, oily stuff and excess of tea.
  • Try to drink room temp water.
  • Atleast once you can have ginger tea.
  • Eating food at one go can increase nausea so try to eat in small portion.
  • Make sure you stay hydrated like having ORS (water with salt and sugar) in place of normal water.
 

Ginger : Crush a small piece of ginger  and add a glass of water to it. Soak it in the water for 10-15 minutes and drink it for immediate relief as of anti spasmodic in nature.
