Acne is a common skin disease also we call them pimples. Acne appears on the face, chest, and back. Main reason of acne is when the pores of the skin become clogged or blocked with oil, dead skin cells, and bacteria in daily life.

Causes of Acne

 There are several factors which add on and produce acne like:-

Teens : Teenagers are more likely to develop acne because of hormonal changes.

Hormonal change: In Women during menstruation, pregnancy, and menopause acne can flare up.

Side effect of Drugs: Sometimes Acne can flare up because of side effects from certain drugs one uses.

Oil: Exposure to oils and greases, polluted air, and sweating in hot weather aggravate acne.

Stress or psychological reason: As per our psychology expert 3H acne can also flare up because of stress.

Home remedies to remove acne


  • Mix fresh methi leaves with water and prepare a paste.
  • Apply paste on the affected area and leave it on for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Wash your face with warm water.
  • Repeat the process for three to four days to allow the acne to heal.


  • Make the paste of Neem leaves and apply on the affected area because of antiseptic and antimicrobial properties it soothes the redness and inflammation of skin breakouts.

Aloe Vera:
  • We can apply Aloe vera gel on the affected part as it will help in healing the scars caused by acne.

Tooth paste

  • Apply a small amount of white toothpaste on the affected area at night as mint property the toothpaste will reduce the swelling and dry out the acne and within two days one can see significant improvement.

Multani Mitti

  • Multani mitti is good for greasy skin which produces acne as it absorbs excess oil (without over-drying your skin) and unclogs the pores.


  • We first get orange peel dried in Sun and after we make powder of the same.
  • Add water to this paste.
  • Apply this paste for 10-15 mins and wash your face with warm water.

Baking Soda

Baking soda with its mild anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties helps in regulating the pH balance of the skin.

  • Mix some baking soda with some water in a bowl to a thick paste.
  • Apply this paste all over your face as a facial mask for 15-20 mins.
  • Wash it off with lukewarm water.
